foundationI. Purpose: Almothaqaf Arabic Association is a private non-governmental organization concerned with
the cultivation

 

 of knowledge, and carries out its activities in the fields of culture, thought, literature and the arts. Established and headquartered in the city of Sydney, Australia, and operates through Almothaqaf Journal on its own domain on the internet, almothaqaf.com.

 

The founding of Almithaqaf Arabic Association was announced on the 5th day of January, 2010,  to meet current demands of  the media work, and in response to the imperative need for promoting, strengthening and propagating a culture of tolerance, community spirit and solidarity , as well as to create institutional centrality to manage and coordinate its different activities  in an organized manner.. After operating continuously for three years as Almothaqaf Journal on the Internet, other activities emerged that created the need for a foundation to manage its affairs and carry out its activities.

 

Almothaqaf Arabic Association is an independent entity that rejects violence and religious condemnation, as well as religious and political extremism; and of a vision that is distinct and distant from the ideological fragmentations and all divisions and particulars that undermine the dignity of the individual and the society as a whole.  Also, The Association seeks the substantiation of humanitarian values by promoting a culture of tolerance, charity and brotherhood, recognizing the unity of human destiny.

 

II. Management:

Along with the management of the Association, an advisory board takes the responsibility of providing wisdom and guidance in the design of its institutional policies, and in the planning for future projects; a group of elite intellectuals will be representing theAssociation in the conduct of its activities outside Australia, which aim to deepen the cultural ties among members of the unified social entity.

 

  III. Principles of Almothaqaf Arabic Association

? We believe in multilateralism and the other opinion.

 

? We call for coexistence among different religions and cultures.

 

? We adopt the values of: tolerance, freedom, democracy and human rights.

 

? We stand strongly against violence, incitement, and religious condemnation.

 

? We reject the antagonistic sectarian and ideological discourse.

 

? We contribute to the deepening of the mode of dialogue and understanding in accordance with the fundamental principles derived from the divine teachings and worldly laws.

 

? We attend to the intellectual and his/her attitude and viewpoints regarding current events and challenges, and make known his/her achievements, work and projects.
